Lithuania saw EU’s strongest industrial growth in November

Lithuania recorded very strong growth in industrial production in November 2021, compared to November 2020, which was the highest the eurozone and the EU, Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT reported quoting data from the Eurostat.
In data released on Wednesday, January 12, the bloc’s statistics agency informed that Lithuania recorded a growth of 17%, with Poland coming in second with 15.3% and Bulgaria third with 13.3%.

The figures of the Eurostat showed that the production of capital goods year-on-year in the euro area fell by 9.8%, while intermediate goods rose by 1.9%, energy by 3.7%, durable consumer goods by 4.4% and non-durable consumer goods by 6.1%.
In November 2021 compared with November 2020, industrial production decreased by 1.5% in the euro area and remained unchanged in the EU, Eurostat announced.
