Latvia’s GDP up 3.4% in fourth quarter of 2021

In Q4 2021, compared to Q4 2020, gross domestic product (GDP) according to seasonally and calendar non-adjusted data increased by 3.4 %.
According to provisional estimations, the GDP was affected by a drop of 1.4 % in producing sectors and a rise of 6.7 % in services sectors, according to the flash estimate of the Central Statistical Bureau.
Compared to Q3 2021, GDP decreased by 0.1 % according to seasonally and calendar adjusted data.
Compared to 2020, GDP increased by 4.7% in 2021.
