Latvian Minister of Culture declares income of EUR 66 000 in 2023

Minister of Culture Agnese Logina declared income of EUR 66 180 last year. This is approximately EUR 22 500 more than in 2022, according to the politician’s income declaration published by the State Revenue Service (VID).
Last year, her wage from the State Chancellery amounted to EUR 29 656, the wage from Riga municipality amounted to EUR 24 129, wage from the Latvian Academy of Culture amounted to EUR 8 684, and the wage from the University of Latvia amounted to EUR 298.
The minister also declared as other income: EUR 49 from Latvijas mediji, EUR 240 from Rīgas laiks, EUR 71 from the State Culture Capital Fund, EUR 1 953 from Riga International Film Festival.
She also received 11 cents as interest from Swedbank. Logina also had a stipend from the State Culture Capital Fund of EUR 350.
Her income for previous years shows that in 2022 Logina declared income of EUR 43 532. In 2021, she declared income of EUR 37 964. In the past three years the minister received from her mother Inara Logina EUR 3 550. In 2020, Logina received a donation of EUR 1 100 from her mother.
In 2023 Logina held multiple posts. She served as Riga City Council deputy, member of the Budget Distribution Committee, a council member in the State Culture Capital Fund and Social Integration Fund. She also served as the chairperson of the Latvian National Commission of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. She served as board member of Short Riga association and worked as a tutor at the University of Latvia.
The Minister of Culture owns an apartment in Riga, as well as another piece of real estate with another person. The minister deposited EUR 473 and EUR 109 into deposit funds in 2023. Logina also owns a Mercedes Benz B 200 (2008), which the minister bought for EUR 6 000 in 2022.
