Latvian border guards report new provocations from Belarusian “colleagues”

Latvia’s State Border Guard reports that on Sunday, the 6th of August, a new provocation was observed on the Latvian-Belarusian border – wires were cut in the fence, allowing four men to illegally enter Latvia’s territory.
During a routine inspection of the border Kaplava border guard office found several persons who had cut through the fence and had illegally entered Latvia’s territory.

Representatives of Belarusian authorities helped illegal immigrants get over the fence by cutting a hole in the fence.
