The latest data from Lithuania reports 581.8 thousand confirmed coronavirus cases with an increase of 6 234 new cases in the past day. 1 070 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 7 690 in Lithuania.
22 489 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 22.6%. 17 people have died from Covid-19 in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 11 of them were not vaccinated and six were. 273 098 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Latvia so far.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 1 742.4.
