The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 7 579 in Lithuania.
14 053 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 17.4%. 4 690 people have died from Covid-19 in Latvia so far and 22 in the last 24 hours. Seven of those people were vaccinated and 15 were not vaccinated. 268 423 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Latvia so far.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 1 010.1.
