A total of 1 002 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 834 of the patients were either not vaccinated or have not yet completed their vaccination course. 168 new patients were vaccinated, however.
The latest public data for Estonia reports 165 345 confirmed coronavirus patients. 727 new patients were registered in the past day. 272 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
1 400 people have died from the virus in Estonia so far.
The latest data from Lithuania reports 353 000 confirmed coronavirus cases with an increase 1 238 new cases in the past day. 1 362 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 5 248 in Lithuania.
7 847 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 12.8%. So far 2 806 people have died from Covid-19 in Latvia and 152 102 have recovered.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 908.6.
