Last week the price of 95 petrol in Latvia increased by 3.9%, whereas the average price of diesel fuel increased by 6%, according to data reported by European Commission.
According to information published by the European Commission this week, in Latvia one litre of 95 petrol cost an average of EUR 1.829 between 11th and 17th October. A week prior the price was around 1.76 EUR/l and a week before that – 1.707 EUR/l.
The average diesel fuel price was 1.932 EUR/l last week.
A week prior the average price of diesel fuel was 1.823 EUR/l and a week before that the price was 1.76 EUR/l.
A record average price for 95 petrol in Latvia was reached the week between 14th and 20th June this year, when the price was 2.104 EUR/l, whereas the record price for diesel fuel was reached the week between 21st and 27th June, when the price was 2.108 EUR/l.
