On Friday, skies will be partly cloudy, but no significant precipitation is expected. At night, with light winds, patches of temporary fog or mist will form in some areas. During the day, a light to moderate southerly wind will develop. Overnight, temperatures in the east will drop to +8…+13°C, while in the west it will be slightly warmer at +13…+17°C. During the day, temperatures will rise to +24…+27°C, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Saturday, the influence of the high-pressure system will diminish, and a cyclone approaching from the north will affect weather conditions across the country. Skies will be variably cloudy, and already during the night, rain is expected in most parts of Latvia. During the day, precipitation will persist mainly in the eastern regions, with heavy showers and thunderstorms possible in some places. A light to moderate south to southwesterly wind will shift to the west and northwest from the second half of the night, strengthening along the coast with gusts of 15–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will stay around +14…+19°C, while daytime highs will reach +18…+23°C.

Another rain front will move in from the north, bringing rainfall to most of the country, with heavy showers and thunderstorms possible in some places during the day. A moderate to moderately strong west to northwesterly wind will blow, with gusts reaching 15–19 m/s. As cooler air flows in from the north, night temperatures will drop to +11…+14°C, slightly warmer along the coast. Daytime temperatures will only reach +14…+18°C.
At the start of the new week, similar weather will persist – sunshine mixed with clouds, and rain expected in at least parts of Latvia almost every day. From Monday, winds will gradually ease, and daytime temperatures will not rise above +22°C.
