On Friday, the 25th of August, former US President Donald Trump was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia on conspiracy charges related to overturning the 2020 election results, making history with his first-ever mugshot, reports BBC.
Trump was arrested in Georgia and released on a $200,000 bail posted.
Trump’s recent arrest marked his fourth within five months, accompanied by his first mugshot.

He reappeared on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to share his website address, posting an image of a mug shot and the message:
“Election interference. Never surrender!”
This places him among notable figures like Frank Sinatra, Al Capone, and Martin Luther King Jr. with arrest photos.
As reported by BBN, on the 21st of August, former US President Donald Trump announced that he will voluntarily surrender to prosecutors in Atlanta, following an indictment last week by a Georgia state grand jury.
