General Staff: Russia loss goes beyond 277 320 soldiers in Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Thursday, the 28th of September, that Russia has suffered significant losses since the full-scale invasion began on the 24th of February, with a total of 277 320 soldiers lost. In addition, it was reported that in the last 24 hours Ukrainians killed 330 Russian soldiers, destroyed 38 Russian artillery systems, 12 armoured personnel carriers and four tanks, citing the General Staff report, writes Kyiv Independent and Ukrainska Pravda.
The General Staff report also summarises the total estimated combat losses of Russian forces between the 24th of February 2022 and the 28th of September 2023, which are estimated as follows (latest losses in brackets):

Russia continues to suffer losses in its war of aggression against Ukraine, these figures show the heavy losses suffered by the Russian military during the conflict.
