For the remainder of the week, weather in Latvia will be dictated by a cyclone. The sky will be cloudy and some rain will come to eastern and coastal areas on Thursday, the 12th of September, as reported by the State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Maximum air temperature in most of the country will be at +18° C… +23° C (+16° C… +18° C along the coast).
It will remain cloudy at the end of the week as well. Still, there will be moments of clear sky. Rain is expected every day in one of Latvia’s parts. Friday is expected to be the most rainy day. A local thunderstorm is likely as well.
Meteorologists say that the wind will be slow to moderate of speed and will blow from the east. Warm masses of air will not move from the country. Air temperature during the day will mainly stay above +20° C, whereas air temperature at night will stay at +14° C… +19° C.
Atmospheric pressure will go up in the first half of next week. Precipitation will calm down and the sun will shine more often. Pleasant summer warmth will remain next week: air temperature during the day will stay at +23° C and remain higher than +14° C at night.
