In 24 hours to Thursday, March 3, Latvia registered 8,900 new coronavirus infections, while Estonia registered 3,564 and Lithuania confirmed 6,220, marking a considerable decrease in Latvia and Estonia.
A total of 8,900 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours to Thursday morning. 15 people have died in the Baltic country, ten of them were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination, while five were vaccinated.
In Estonia, the latest public data showed that 3,564 new cases were found over the last 24 hours. 647 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Estonian hospitals. 2,268 people have died from the disease in Estonia thus far.

The latest data from Lithuania added 6,220 new cases of coronavirus infection. 1,564 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Lithuanian hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the health complications of the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8,484 people.
Returning to Latvia, 19,452 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Latvian Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests was 45,8%. A total of 5,284 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia, while 540,235 people have recovered from the disease.
