From Friday, 15 October, until Wednesday, 20 October, Latvian residents will be able to vaccinate for Covid-19 at parking lots of several Lidl stores in Riga, as confirmed by the company.
In efforts to take care of its customers, retailer Lidl Latvia has responded to the proposal from the National Health Service regarding the option to place Covid-19 vaccination buses at parking lots of multiple Lidl stores in Riga.
NVD vaccination buses will allow all people interested in receiving Covid-19 vaccination to receive a jab at the following addresses: Mežciems, S.Eizenšteins Street 81, Imanta, Anniņmuižas Boulevard 77 (16:00-20:00 19 October); Zolitude, Anniņmuižas Street 8A (07:00-10:00 20 October); Pļavnieki, Lubānas Street 113A (11:00-15:00) and Pļavnieki, A. Deglava Street 160 (11:00-15:00).
As it is known, all Lidl stores in Latvia are open 07:00 – 23:00 every day.
A new mobile vaccination project commenced 15 October. During this project Covid-19 vaccination will be provided in a number of areas in Riga, as reported by NVD Vaccination Project Office Eva Juhņēviča.
Three specialised buses will be used. They will remain in designated areas for three to four hours at a time. Vaccination will be organized using a live queue method. No registration in advance is needed.
In total vaccination buses will visit 49 locations in Riga.
