A total of 9 087 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 3 652 of the patients were either not vaccinated or have not yet completed their vaccination course. 5 435 new patients were vaccinated, however.
6 238 new cases were found in Estonia the last 24 hours. 298 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
2 023 people have died from the virus in Estonia so far.
The latest data from Lithuania reports 10 630 new cases. 1 172 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 7 815 in Lithuania.
25 893 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 35.1%. A total of 4 832 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia so far and 18 have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. Seven of them were vaccinated and 11 weren’t.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 3 584.4.
