A total of 3 775 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 1 376 of the patients were either not vaccinated or have not yet completed their vaccination course. 2 388 new patients were vaccinated, however.
4 964 new cases were found in Estonia the last 24 hours. 346 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
2 033 people have died from the virus in Estonia so far.
The latest data from Lithuania reports 5 793 new cases. 1 339 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 7 872 in Lithuania.
9 411 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 40.1%. A total of 4 873 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia so far and five have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. Two of them were vaccinated and three weren’t.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 4 617.0.
