In November 2023 construction costs in Latvia went up by an average of 1.7% when compared to the same period of 2022, according to data from the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (CSP).
The pay of construction workers went up by 7.1%, the costs of machine and equipment maintenance and related costs went up by 3.9%. The prices of construction materials went down by 1.7%.
CSP reports that in November 2023, as compared to October, the level of construction costs has gone up by 0.3% in Latvia.
Prices of construction materials and workers’ pay are up by 0.4%, whereas machine and equipment maintenance and related costs are up by 0.1%.
In November the average level of construction costs was affected the most by the increase of prices for mineral materials, metals and metal products.
