Information from Firmas.lv indicates that LSF Trans LLC is liquidated. This company was indirectly owned by Anrijs Lembergs. This man is the son of ex-mayor of Ventspils Aivars Lembergs, who was found guilty of severe crimes and crimes involving corruption.
The company’s insolvency procedure was announced on the 13th of April 2022. On the 28th of November the company was liquidated.
Anrijs Lembergs and his father were both the accused in the criminal case.
A court of first instance found him guilty of money laundering and providing support in participation in unauthorised participation in economic transactions.
The court of law also ruled that the 100% of shares he owned in LSF Holdings LLC are to be confiscated. This case is currently in review by an appeal court.
LSF Holdings is the sole owner of LSF Trans. The verdict of the court applied an arrest on the capital shares in LSF Trans indirectly owned by Lembergs, according to information from Firmas.lv.
LSF Trans was registered in 2002 with base capital of EUR 284 000. Since 2010 the company has operated without any turnover. Its losses reached EUR 5 960 in 2020 and EUR 4 130 in 2019. In 2018 the company had profits of EUR 5.78 million.
Riga City Pardaugava Court explained that requests for insolvency were submitted by LSF Trans. The company’s outstanding debt was the basis for insolvency proceedings.
