On Friday, the 8th of November, weather in Latvia will remain autumnal gray – the sky will be cloudy, but no precipitation is expected. Air temperature at night and during the day will stay at +4° C… +10° C, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Weather on the weekend will not change much – the sky will be cloudy, drizzling rain will come, but no significant precipitation is expected in most of the country. Wind speed will remain slow. Fog will appear on the night to Saturday and in morning hours. Air temperature at night will not drop below +4° C, whereas daytime air temperature will not rise above +7° C… +9° C.
At the beginning of next week, colder masses of air will flow to the country, causing air temperature to go down – mainly in eastern parts of the country. Air temperature at night will drop below 0° C. As air temperature goes down, some roads may become iced over – motorists are advised to be cautious! Wind speed will remain slow. Although no precipitation is expected in the beginning of the week, current weather forecasts suggest the volume of precipitation will go up in the second half of the week. It is possible some regions may see wet snow.
