Attendees of Ventspils city festival invited to visit Stena Line ferry

During Ventspils city festival, which is scheduled for 6 August, Swedish Stena Line will invite all people interested to visit their open doors day event on board Stena Baltica ferry, as reported by the company.
Guests will be shown the cabins, the open deck and public areas – leisure areas, bar and restaurant. They will also be provided an opportunity to visit the captain’s bridge, which is normally closed off to the public.
«Every day Stena Line provides ferry transports on Ventspils-Nynäshamn route, or the shortest route connecting Latvia and Scandinavia. Although the trip is only nine hours long, we strive to provide the best possible sea voyage experience,» said Stena Line commercial passenger transport manager in Baltic Sea Nordic Region Pedro Canchaya.

Stena Baltica, which courses with «sister ship» Stena Scandica between Ventspils and Nynäshamn, is 222 m long.

Ferries have 200 cabins, cabins for families and for passengers with pets, as well as 2 875 linear metres of space for freight and an additional deck for cars.
As reported by Canchaya, the ferry can take on board 970 passengers. The ferry also offers a bar and restaurant, as well as 122 m2 large store and leisure zones.
