On the last day of April it will be partially cloudy. In some areas, mainly central and eastern regions, there will be short-term rain, as well as thunderstorms locally, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Wind speed will be slow, and for a large portion of the country the day will pass with pleasant warm weather – air temperature will reach +18° C… +23° C (+9° C… +14° C near the water, mainly along the coast).
On the 1st of May weather will become sunny again. While some rain at night is expected, the day will pass with dry weather. The wind will be slow to moderate and will blow from the east and north-east. On the night to Wednesday air temperature will drop to +6° C… +12° C. Daytime air temperature in most areas except the coast will reach +20° C… +23° C.
Meteorologists say that in the second half of the week atmospheric pressure will remain high. This means weather conditions will be mostly calm and fair.
On the first day of May weather will be mostly dry and warm. Some rain is expected in eastern regions on the weekend.
Air temperature will remain similar to the start of the week. However, closer to the end of the week, air temperature will start going down. Air temperature may drop to +15° C on Sunday. It is also possible air temperature may drop below 0° C at night at the beginning of next week.
