In some areas, mainly central and eastern regions, meteorologists expect rain showers. The wind will be moderate and will blow from the south-west and south. Wind speed along the coast is expected to reach 15-18 m/sec. Maximum daytime air temperature is expected around +10° C… +13° C.
Sunday, 13 November, is expected to show clear sky in most of the country.
On Saturday, 12 November, it is expected to rain in eastern parts of the country. The wind will remain strong and will blow from the west and south west. Wind will be the strongest in Kurzeme and Vidzeme. The wind will calm down around the afternoon. On the night to Saturday, air temperature at night will remain within +10° C… +12° C. Daytime air temperature will reach +12° C… +15° C.
Saturday is expected to bring new historical temperature records.
On the night to Sunday air temperature will drop to +5° C… +10° C. Anticyclone activity will increase on Sunday. This means precipitation will calm down.
According to current forecasts on the night to Monday, 14 November, the amount of clouds in the sky will increase, which means cloudy weather at the start of the week. Some rain is expected in eastern parts of Latvia. There is also a possibility of wet snow.
