The Combined List union of political parties invites New Unity to reach a rational and comprehensive government coalition model and move rapidly towards development of a government action plan and declaration, the party told the media.
The party believes the 14th Saeima coalition should consist of three parties – New Unity, Combined List and National Alliance.
The union of political parties believes «this would be the most efficient, stable, as well as ideologically and value-wise most cohesive coalition».
The party also believe there are no justified reasons that would slow or delay work on the government declaration. This is why they invite potential partners – New Unity, Combined List and National Alliance – to agree on an intensive work schedule.
According to representatives of the union of parties, residents should be presented with a plan to overcome the energy crisis, improve state defence, create a competitive business environment and development of Latvia’s regions.
BNN previously reported that seven political parties were elected to the 14th Saeima: New Unity (26 seats), Union of Greens and Farmers (16 seats), Combined List (15 seats), National Alliance (13 seats), For Stability! (11 seats), Latvia in First Place (9 seats), and Progressive Party (10 seats).
