Similar to the start of last week, this weekend in Latvia weather will be influenced by cyclone activity. At the end of the week, as well as the weekend, short rain showers are expected in the country, as reported by Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Friday, 7 October, is expected to be sunny with moments of rain showers. Wind speed along the coast will reach 15-19 m/sec. Air temperature will be +13° C… +16° C.
On Saturday, 8 October, the night and day will pass without major precipitation. Throughout the day the amount of clouds will increase. Local showers are expected around the afternoon. The wind will be slow to moderate and will blow from the south and south-west. Along the coast the wind will be stronger – 15-17 m/sec. At night air temperature will drop to -5° C… +10° C, whereas daytime air temperature will reach +13° C… +16° C.
On Sunday, 9 October, air temperature at night and at day will drop slightly. Wind speed will go down as well. The amount of clouds will be volatile. At night some local showers are expected. At night air temperature will be +7° C… +12° C, whereas daytime air temperature will not exceed +11° C… +14° C.
