Political parties and associations have reported promotion expenses for the period between 4 June and 12 September worth a total of EUR 2 582 991.34, as reported by Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB).
All political parties and associations in Latvia have a limit on how much they are allowed to spend on promotion, as well as charity, sponsoring, benefits and donations.
The limit set for each of the 19 lists of candidates is EUR 708 053.30, KNAB reminds.
The biggest expenses reported so far are for the association of parties Combined list (EUR 447 996.62), whereas the lowest are reported by the political party Republika – EUR 1 560.
