A day prior Spanish authorities reported the first day, which is also the first in Spain and Europe.
«Of the 3 750 patients, 120 are hospitalised and two are dead,» the ministry reported on Saturday, 30 July.

The country’s ministry previously reported the majority of infected are men who had sex with other men. A small number of women are also infected, according to reports.

Experts also suspect the outbreak of monkeypox in Europe and North Africa may have come from two rave parties in Belgium and Spain.
