Amnesty International accuses Russia of war crimes

In its latest report Amnesty International accuses Russia of committing war crimes in Ukraine. The international human rights organisation claims hundreds of civilians were killed in Kharkiv as a result of shelling using cluster bombs.
Repeated shelling of residential districts of Kharkiv were random and killed hundreds of civilians, making it a war crime, as mentioned in Amnesty International report on the situation in Ukraine’s second largest city.
According to the report titled Anyone can die at any moment, the organisation has

irrefutable proof of Russian army using cluster bombs and anti-personnel mines, which are prohibited by international conventions.

Russia denies having used prohibited munitions.
In its report Amnesty International also mentions cases when normal unguided artillery shells miss their mark by up to 100 m.
According to Amnesty International, residential districts of Kharkiv have been under bombardment since day one of the war. Enormous damages have been caused to the city with a population of 1.5 million.
