This week leader of Belarusian democratic movement Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will be visiting Riga between 8th and 9th June, as confirmed by Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During her visit, she will meet with Latvia’s President Egils Levits, Saeima speaker Ināra Mūrniece and Saeima deputies, Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkēvičs, Mayor of Riga Mārtiņš Staķis, as well as former chairman of the Popular Front of Latvia Romualds Ražuks.
Tsikhanouskaya is also scheduled to read a speech to the Saeima.
Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that it is planned for Tsikhanouskaya to visit the Support Centre for Ukrainian refugees, the Museum of Occupation of Latvia, as well as visit the Nordic Ministers Council Office.
