On Monday, April 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported of a Russian attack on Popasana in Donbas. In the northern Dobas Izium-Barvinkove and Izium-Sloviansk directions, the invaders attempted to conduct storming operations but failed. Russian troops were shelling such settlements as Velyka Komyshuvakha, Virnopillia and Nova Dmytrivka.
In the south-eastern Donetsk and Tavriiskyi directions, the invaders launched artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian forces. In Mariupol, Russian troops launched missile and air strikes on the Azovstal plant. Russian invaders are conducting storming operations near Popasna.
In the south, Southern Bug direction, Russian troops opened fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces near Kniazivka and Mykolaivka.
Kyiv did not report on Ukrainian losses in battle. It announced the latest loses of the Joint Forces Operation group has successfully repelled seven enemy attacks, destroying 13 tanks, three artillery systems, 17 armoured vehicles, four armoured fighting vehicles, three Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.

US pledges more military aid
On the grim two-month anniversary the Russian invasion into Ukraine U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin visited Kyiv.
