Meteorologists provide a weather forecast for the first week of October

The end of the week will be warm and mostly dry, according to Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Friday weather will be cloudy and both and night and morning hours western and central regions will experience some rain. The day, on the other hand, will be sunny and dry. Wind will range from slow to moderate and will blow from the south-east and south.
Air temperature will drop to +6° C… +10° C (+4° C… +5° C in the far east portions of Latvia). Daytime air temperature will reach +9° C… +14° C (+16° C in Kurzeme).
On Saturday weather will be cloudy and sunny at times – no precipitation is expected during the day or at night.
Meteorologists say at night air temperature will drop to +5° C… +10° C, whereas daytime air temperature will range between +13° C… +16° C. Sunday will be this week’s sunniest and warmest day. The sun will shine in many parts of Latvia and weather will be dry. At night air temperature will not go higher than +4° C, whereas daytime air temperature will reach +13° C… +18° C. The wind will blow from the south-east and may reach a speed of 15 m/sec.
Next week will start with dry weather. From Tuesday onward, however, there will be more precipitation and more wind. Nevertheless, weather will remain relatively warm: daytime air temperature will reach +9° C… +15° C.
