A total of 3 360 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 13 people have died, of which ten were unvaccinated or hadn’t completed their vaccination course and three were vaccinated.
1 830 new cases were found in Estonia the last 24 hours. 452 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.

The latest data from Lithuania reports 5 322 new cases. 1 301 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8 764 people.
10 062Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests is 36.1%. 714 444 people have recovered from Covid-19 infection. A total of 5 523 people in Latvia have died from Covid-19 so far.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 3 223.0.
The National Health Service reports there are currently 953 Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in hospitals. For 441 of those people Covid-19 is the main diagnosis, whereas for the rest it is a side-diagnosis.
