Putin’s partner asked by friends to convince aggressor to stop war

Alina Kabaeva is believed to be the partner of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The woman residing in Switzerland has been asked by her friends to convince him to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, reported The New York Post’s celebrity news portal Page Six.
It wrote that Kabaeva, a former athlete and Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast, has four children with the Russian President, although the two never officially revealed it.
Page Six news portal quoted an unnamed source as saying: «Alina’s female friends are begging her to fly to Putin and persuade him to end the war. (..) He doesn’t seem to be listening to anybody, but perhaps he might listen to her.» It also quoted the source as explaining: «Putin is surrounded by rings and rings of security. Alina says she doesn’t know if she can get to him – and even if she does – she doesn’t know if she’ll be able to get out again to be with their kids.»
