This weekend colder masses of air will flow to Latvia. Days will become slightly colder and cloudier. Some precipitation is expected in many areas. From Sunday onward, however, days will become sunny and warm again, predicts Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Friday, 18 March, air temperature will reach +3° C… +9° C.
This day will also be a couple of minutes longer than night.
On the weekend weather will be mostly dry and sunny. Nights will remain cold and days will start getting warmer.
On Saturday there will be more clouds. Some precipitation is expected in western and central parts of Latvia at night. No precipitation is expected during the day. Some roads may become slippery at night and during morning hours. Motorists are urged to be careful.
The wind will be slow and air temperature at night on Saturday will be at +2° C along the coast and -9° C in eastern parts of Latvia. Daytime air temperature will range between +3° C and +8° C. Sunday will be sunny and dry in Latvia, meteorologists predict.
On Sunday night air temperature will be at 0° C… -5° C. Fog may form at times. Daytime air temperature will reach +5° C… +12° C.
