A total of 5 138 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 20 people have died, of which 14 were unvaccinated or hadn’t completed their vaccination course and six were vaccinated.
2 137 new cases were found in Estonia the last 24 hours. 597 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.

The latest data from Lithuania reports 7 054 new cases. 1 390 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8 676 people.
12 413 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 41.4%. 667 949 people have recovered from Covid-19 infection. A total of 5 455 people in Latvia have died from Covid-19 so far.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 4 363.1.
The National Health Service reports there are currently 1 094 Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in hospitals. For 483 of those people Covid-19 is the main diagnosis, whereas for the rest it is a side-diagnosis.
