Concerts of Russian and Ukrainian musicians who have condemned Moscow’s war against Ukraine have been cancelled in Russia, UNIAN internet news portal was told by a musician in Moscow and a concert organiser.
According to the portal, many Russian stage performers are often asked to confirm they will not use any symbols related to Ukraine while on stage or comment on Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Musicians are not allowed to perform songs of «blacklisted» performers, whereas organisers of events are told that inviting those musicians to perform would be «extremely undesirable».
The black list includes Russian musical stars like Maksim Galkin, Valery Meladze, Boris Grebenshikov, Ivan Alekseyev aka rapper NoizeMC, Miron Fedorov aka Oxxxymiron, bands Kasta, Anacondaz, Krovostok, Pornofilmi and 2Mashi.
As for the list of Ukrainian performers who are not allowed to perform in Russia, these are: Ivan Dorn, Nadiya Dorofeyeva, the duo Potap and Nastya Kamenskih, Vera Brezhneva, Dmitro Monatik, Mikitam Alekseyev, as well as bands Oekan Eļzi, Odin v kanoe and Nervi. There is also the musician Makss Barskih, who had previously prohibited his songs from being played in Russia.
