4 872 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 43%. 644 289 people have recovered from Covid-19 infection
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 4 823.2.
The National Health Service reports there are currently 1 127 Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in hospitals. For 510 of those people Covid-19 is the main diagnosis, whereas for the rest it is a side-diagnosis.
