In 24 hours to Friday, March 11, Latvia registered 6,216 new coronavirus infections, while Estonia confirmed 2,167 and Lithuania registered 5,767, marking the second day of decreasing numbers across the Baltic states.
A total of 6,216 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours to Friday morning. 14 people have died in the Baltic country in the period, ten of them were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination, while four were vaccinated.
In Estonia, the latest public data showed that 2,167 new cases were found over the last 24 hours. 609 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Estonian hospitals. 2,327 people have died from the disease in Estonia thus far.

The latest data from Lithuania added 5,767 new cases of coronavirus infection. 1,363 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Lithuanian hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the health complications of the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8,607 people.
Returning to Latvia, 15,574 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Latvian Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests was 39.9%. A total of 5,396 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia, while 618,849 people have recovered from the disease.
