In 24 hours to Friday, February 25, Latvia registered 9,952 new coronavirus infections, while Estonia registered 5,015 and Lithuania confirmed 6,193, which showed a decrease in Latvia and Lithuania and an increase by around 600 in Estonia compared to the data of February 24.
A total of 9,952 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours to Friday morning. 32 people have died in the Baltic country, 24 of them were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and eight were vaccinated.
In Estonia, the latest public data showed that 5,015 new cases were found over the last 24 hours. 675 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Estonian hospitals. 2,204 people have died from the virus in Estonia thus far.

The latest data from Lithuania added 6,193 new cases of coronavirus infection. 1,777 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Lithuanian hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the health complications of the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8,368 people.
Returning to Latvia, 22,269 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Latvian Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests was 44.7%. A total of 5,191 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia, while 483,342 people have recovered from the disease.
