In 24 hours to Monday, February 21, Latvia registered 3,819 new coronavirus infections, while Estonia registered 2,981 and Lithuania confirmed 4,140, which showed a decrease in all three Baltic states that is characteristic to Monday data as less tests are made.
A total of 3,819 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours to Monday morning. Five people have died in the Baltic country, four of them were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and one was vaccinated.
In Estonia, the latest public data showed that 2,981 new cases were found in Estonia over the last 24 hours. 620 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Estonian hospitals. 2,170 people have died from the virus in Estonia thus far.

The latest data from Lithuania added 4,140 new cases of coronavirus infection. 1,888 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Lithuanian hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the health complications of the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8,267 people.
Returning to Latvia, 8,445 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Latvian Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests is 42,5%. A total of 5,113 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia, while 445,154 people have recovered from the disease.
