In 24 hours to Friday, February 18, Latvia registered 10,285 new coronavirus infections, while Estonia registered 6,728 and Lithuania – 6,604, which showed a decrease in all three Baltic states.
A total of 10,285 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours to Thursday morning. 20 people have died in the Baltic country, of them 11 were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and nine were vaccinated.
In Estonia, the latest public data showed that 6,604 new cases were found in Estonia the last 24 hours. 1,819 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Estonian hospitals.

The number of deaths caused by the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8,219 people.
Returning to Latvia, 23,648 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Latvian Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests is 43,5%. A total of 5,093 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia, while 417,310 have recovered from the disease.
