The number of deaths caused by the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8 114.
9 431 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 43.9%.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 6 866.7.
Latvian National Health service reports 1 145 Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in hospitals. For 594 of them Covid-19 is their main diagnosis. For the rest, Covid-19 infection is a side-diagnosis.
