The pro-Russian terrorist group Global Citizens Against War 1984 (GCAW1984), which has previously claimed responsibility for acts of sabotage in Europe, has sent threatening letters to Latvia, Poland and Portugal, demanding that companies producing and supplying weapons to Ukraine cease their operations.
According to a press release circulated by the group, it has targeted Latvian companies Eraser and Unitrack, Polish companies PGZ, WB Electronics, JFG Composites and Nitro-Chem, as well as Portuguese company Tekever.
If the group’s demands are ignored and the companies named do not stop supplying weapons to Ukraine by the 7th of October, it has threatened to shut down their operations “by any means necessary”. The terrorists have given the governments of the countries concerned one month to comply with their demands.
As evidence of the seriousness of its intentions, the group sent photographs of graffiti in Riga, Warsaw and Lisbon displaying the group’s acronym.
The group previously claimed responsibility for an attempted arson attack in August against a company in Slovakia owned by Ukrainian drone manufacturer Skyeton.
