British drones used in strikes on Russia; Moscow threatens retaliation

After it was confirmed that British drones were used in strikes on Russian territory, Moscow has accused Britain of “deliberately trying to deepen the crisis in Ukraine,” the BBC reports.
The Russian embassy in Britain said in a statement that Britain was acting as an accomplice and ally in bloody crimes and terrorist attacks. London’s actions would have consequences and it would have to answer for what it had done. The embassy added that the deeper the involvement in the conflict, the higher the price it would have to pay.
The British Ministry of Defense responded by saying that the British stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine. Russia should not doubt the British government’s determination to stand against Moscow’s aggression both in Ukraine and against Britain and its allies. The ministry spokesman added that

the British are committed to providing Ukraine with the weapons it needs to defend itself

against Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion.
Drones made by two separate British companies have been widely used in successful attacks on Russian military and industrial targets, including oil refineries and the warehouses of online retailer Wildberries.
A military source confirmed to the BBC that British-made drones were used in the attacks, which have cost the Russians more than 35 billion pounds.
