UK to send anti-armour weapons to Ukraine

The United Kingdom has announced it would supply anti-armour, defensive weapons to Ukraine for the latter to be able to defend itself in case of aggression against it, Ukrinform and Reuters news agencies report.
«We have taken the decision to supply Ukraine with light anti-armour defensive weapon systems,» British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace was quoted as saying to the British Parliament on January 17. «They are not strategic weapons and pose no threat to Russia.
