Estonians warned of storm dangers throughout country

Estonian weather forecasters have issued a second level warning over dangerous weather throughout the Baltic country for Monday, January 17, as a powerful winter storm approached from the Baltic Sea, Estonian public broadcaster ERR reports.
As to precipitation, snow and sleet are expected to fall until noon, the Estonian Weather Service informed. It also expected winds of up to 30 m/s on the western coast and islands and up to 23 m/s inland throughout Monday.

A level two warning issued for the whole of the country means the weather is dangerous. The Estonian Weather Service commented as quoted by the ERR: «Unusual meteorological phenomena have been forecast. Be very vigilant and keep regularly informed about the weather forecast. Be aware of the risks that might be unavoidable and follow any advice given by authorities.»
