The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 7 603 in Lithuania.
16 854 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 15.2%. 4 700 people have died from Covid-19 in Latvia so far and ten in the last 24 hours. Four of those people were vaccinated and six were not vaccinated. 269 718 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Latvia so far.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 1 079.9.
