During the first half of the night into Tuesday, rain is expected in some parts of Kurzeme, while dry weather will prevail during the day and also on Wednesday, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Sunshine will alternate with clouds and light winds will blow. Fog will form overnight into Tuesday in Kurzeme and on Wednesday night in many parts of Latvia, and it may persist into the morning hours. At night, the minimum air temperature will range between -2°C and +2°C, while daytime temperatures will mostly warm up to +8°C to +13°C, and +2°C to +7°C along the coast.
Weather conditions will begin to change on Thursday afternoon,
when a precipitation zone will cross the country, although the rain will stop again by Friday daytime. In the second half of the week, temperatures will remain within similar ranges — at night the thermometer may drop to +2°C to -3°C, while during the day temperatures may rise to around +12°C in some areas.
