Over the weekend, skies will remain overcast.
Rain is expected in a wider area, with wet snow appearing in the east on Saturday, and elsewhere on Sunday. Dense fog is expected overnight into Saturday, reducing visibility. A light to moderate southeast or east wind will continue.
At the beginning of next week, precipitation — rain, and on some days also wet snow — will persist across most of the country. No significant changes in air temperature are expected, as no rapid influx of much warmer or colder air masses is forecast for Latvia over the coming week.
