Over the weekend, skies in Latvia will be mostly cloudy – on Saturday they will clear in some areas, but by Sunday the weather will become overcast, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Saturday will be dry, with no precipitation expected, while on Sunday light rain may occur in the northern part of the country.
During the night and early morning hours, fog will form in some regions, which may reduce visibility. A light to moderate southerly wind will blow on Saturday, becoming weaker overnight into Sunday. Nighttime temperatures will drop to between +2°C and +8°C, while daytime air temperatures will rise to between +5°C and +10°C.
In the first half of next week, the weather will remain mostly cloudy, with occasional clear spells in the southern regions. The weather will be mostly dry, with only scattered light precipitation expected in some areas. Across most of the country, both day and night temperatures will range from +3°C to +8°C, and in some places may approach +10°C.
