Overnight temperatures will drop to +3…+7°C, while during the day the air will warm up to +5…+10°C, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Wednesday, the weather will remain mostly cloudy, though at times the skies will clear. Rain is expected in many areas throughout the day. With a light to moderate southerly wind, fog will form in some regions during the night and early morning, reducing visibility. Nighttime temperatures will range from +4…+9°C, while daytime highs will reach +6…+11°C.
Thursday will also be mostly cloudy, with rainfall expected almost everywhere.
During the night and morning, fog will again form in some areas, making visibility poor. A light to moderate southerly wind will shift to the southwest and west by evening, with gusts along the coast reaching up to 15 m/s. The minimum temperature at night will be +4…+9°C, rising to +6…+11°C during the day.
Toward the end of the week, daytime temperatures will remain within +5…+10°C, while nights will be a few degrees cooler than earlier in the week. Rain will ease in some places, but the start of next week will bring wet and windy weather again under the influence of a cyclone, with coastal areas seeing gusts of wind up to 15 m/s.
